The Gig/Freelance Economy 2025 And Beyond

It seems like the gig economy ain't giggin the way people thought it would. Companies are laying off workers in massive numbers and to top it off, it's nearly impossible to find another job. So what are people doing? They're turning to the gig economy. But it's not paying the bills. Many unemployed and employed individuals are turning to social media sites like TikTok and YouTube prophesying their employment troubles. Many are looking towards becoming content creators and/or doing side hustles like Door Dash and Uber.  Unfortunately, individuals soon discover that content creating takes a while to build up an audience and Door Dash doesn't provide enough earnings to cover the monthly bills.  What Is Meant By Gig Work?
